Programs

Every program offered by The Sweeney Alliance is custom designed to meet the specific needs of the audience. We begin with basic grief and reinvestment information that is found in our HUGS (How to Understand Grief) seminar and expand your curriculum from that point.

You may choose to offer one of our programs as a training meeting (six hours) or a shortened presentation suitable for conferences or breakout workshops. These shortened sessions (2-3 hours) will offer educational information as well as an overview of the expanded training.

Each of our programs will be a welcomed addition to training programs or community service offerings that you currently have available. For example, funeral homes, hospice organizations, and hospitals have found that our Halo of Love, Alone-And Life Goes On, and Surviving the Holidays programs are a wonderful gift they can give their neighborhood families.

Junior and senior high schools have provided the Children Healing After Trauma program as a teacher and school resource officer in-service. In addition, several schools have chosen to provide this unique program for their students following a traumatic event such as the death of a classmate or teacher.

The Grieving Behind the Badge training program offers help to emergency response and public safety personnel. These dedicated men and women must cope with many stressful, life-threatening, and often emotionally painful situations that are unique to their professions.

The Sweeney Alliance will design a one-of-a-kind program to meet the needs of your audience. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have.
